UFP Music Assistant is a privately operated integration connecting Amazon Alexa devices with a self-hosted Music Assistant and Home Assistant installation. It is intended for personal use and is not a commercial service.
When the integration is used, Amazon Alexa sends requests needed to handle playback commands. These requests may contain information such as the requested action, Alexa device, and language or locale. Music Assistant processes playback requests and supplies audio streams to Alexa devices.
Amazon handles Login with Amazon authentication and associated account information under its own privacy policies. This integration uses that authorization to configure and operate the personal Alexa skill.
Music Assistant and Home Assistant are self-hosted by the operator. The skill and audio endpoints are reachable over HTTPS so Amazon and Alexa devices can communicate with them. Cloudflare provides internet connectivity and security services for those endpoints and may process technical connection information, including IP addresses and request metadata.
Amazon processes Alexa requests and playback as part of its Alexa services. The operator may retain ordinary service and security logs generated by the self-hosted systems and hosting providers.
This personal integration is not intended to sell personal information, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers. Information is processed by the services and infrastructure providers described above as needed to authenticate, deliver skill requests, and provide playback.
The operator controls the self-hosted Music Assistant and Home Assistant installation, including its local configuration and logs. Retention of information processed by Amazon and Cloudflare is governed by their respective policies and settings. The operator can disable or remove this personal skill and integration.
This integration is privately operated for personal use. It does not provide public customer support or account registration.
